Por si no la conocen ya, les presento La Ladrillera, el nuevo local de moda en Cieneguilla.
La idea nace al haber esta original fábrica de ladrillos artesanal (Ladrillera) de más de 80 años de antigüedad, abandonada, en pleno Cieneguilla. Su infraestructura de por sí se prestaba para hacer algo lindo adentro, y al no haber una oferta gastronómica interesante por la zona, Alfonso García-Miró Alvarado decide hacer de La Ladrillera, un restaurant.
Esto queda en una zona privilegiada de Cieneguilla, de bajo tránsito, sin ruido, alejado de los demás restaurantes campestres. No hay otro sitio cercano donde la gente que va a Cieneguilla a pasar el fin de semana, pueda salir a comer algo, a comprar algo para llevar o a tomarse un trago. Todo se dió perfecto para que el sitio tenga éxito. No había ningún local igual, no tenían competencia, y había un público cautivo a la espera de un nuevo y simpático lugar.
Alfonso empezó a intervenir en el lugar. La idea siempre fue mantener “La Ladrillera” físicamente intacta. Hubieron algunas restauraciones que tuvieron que hacer, pero básicamente fue agregarle un bonito piso (cemento pulido por dentro y ladrillo rococho por fuera), un llamativo techo (madera por dentro y toldos en acero inoxidable) y algunos que otro detalles más (cocina, baños, almacenes, estacionamiento.) "Siempre quisimos mantener una línea vanguardista, minimalista, mezclando lo industrial con lo rústico." Y sin duda, lo ha conseguido.
La idea nace en enero del 2012, la obra empieza en abril, y la inauguración del restaurant fue el último sábado de septiembre de 2012. Cuentan con una variedad de quiches, pies, fiambres, jamones, prosciutto, todo tipo de postres, tambien venden pan frabricado por ellos mismos para el desayuno, pasta, carnes, hamburguesas, todo tipo de licores, y variedad de frutas y verduras de la zona.
